Abundant Life

Abundant life does not mean God wants everyone to be happy, healthy, and wealthy. Conversely, God does not want everyone miserable, sick, and poor. What God desires is for everyone to be saved and He will use every circumstance toward that end when we learn to trust Him and surrender our lives and wills to the care and control of Jesus Christ. Christ came to set us free from the bondage of sin and death. Those who are in Christ are called to walk in that freedom in this life. Abundant life is the joy, peace, and hope experienced by those who learn to live in obedience to God by abiding in Christ. It is the security and sanity of knowing that all things work together for the good of those who are called to life in Christ. Abundant life is not freedom from temptation and pain. Rather, it is victory over temptation and pain through life in Christ.
