John Chapter 19

Man's disobedience brought sin into the world, impacting all of creation, but here is the incredible truth: we serve a merciful, just, and loving God! In a divine act of compassion, He took upon Himself the punishment we deserve, allowing pride, jealousy, and fear to conspire in the hearts of men who lust for power. The invisible God took on our likeness by wrapping Himself in flesh to pour out His blood as atonement for our sins.

But that's not all! He became sin itself, the very curse of His law, to meet its rightful demands on our behalf. While our disobedience trapped us in sin, His selfless sacrifice liberated us. He entered the world as the only one free from sin, and through His sacrificial love nailed our sinful nature to the cross. The One True God became the very curse of His own Law to redeem us by satisfying its just requirement.

All who put their faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ are set free from the curse of the law. We are free to leave behind our sinful life and embrace the vibrant new life empowered by our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. "Whom the Son sets free is free indeed!" Let's celebrate our freedom in Christ by glorifying God through obedience, remaining rooted in Christ as we flourish in the new life we have received!
